We are a special facility that provides a small, family-like setting and an excellence of care that cannot be found anywhere else in the East Bay. The culture that has been established by our staff is one of compassion, warmth, and kindness. McClure provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietary and social services. All residents of McClure receive inpatient therapy, but we can provide outpatient therapy as well to anyone that requires rehab but does not need to stay in the facility. To receive daily outpatient therapy, all you need to do is make an appointment and sign-in when you get here. Transitioning individuals back into the community is our primary goal and we promise to do whatever we can to make that happen.

As a recent resident of McClure Post Acute, having just been discharged yesterday after a two-month stay, I want to express my sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for helping make my stay as comfortable and positive as possible. From management to the hardworking nurses, physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs), I truly appreciate the care, patience, professionalism, and kindness shown to me throughout my stay. Everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and that made a real difference during my recovery. My appreciation extends well beyond the medical and rehabilitation staff. The kitchen and laundry staff were helpful and friendly, and it was always nice to see the friendly faces of the housekeeping staff as they went about their work. The activities and recreation staff helped make time in the common areas more enjoyable, and I’m also grateful to the medical transportation driver who took me to my post-op follow-up appointments. These are all important parts of the overall care experience, and I’m thankful for the role each person played. Spending two months in a facility is a significant part of one’s life, and the kindness, consideration, and support of so many people truly matter. It takes a team to keep a facility running smoothly and to care for its residents, and I want everyone at McClure Post Acute to know that their efforts did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
